3. Quotations and Project Scope
Quotations are based on the information available at the time they are prepared and remain valid for the period stated on the quotation. Work outside the agreed project scope may require a revised quotation or additional fee.
4. Deposits and Payments
A deposit may be required before work begins. Payment stages, balances and deadlines will be stated in the quotation or invoice.
Final deployment, file delivery, ownership transfer or administrative access may be withheld until all amounts due have been paid.
5. Project Timelines
Estimated delivery times depend on project complexity, client communication, access to required information and timely approval of work.
Delays caused by missing content, delayed feedback, changed requirements or third-party services may extend the delivery date.
6. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for:
- Providing accurate project information
- Providing required text, images and branding assets
- Confirming ownership or permission to use supplied material
- Reviewing work and providing feedback promptly
- Maintaining secure login credentials
- Paying agreed fees on time
7. Revisions
The number and type of revisions included will depend on the selected package or project agreement. Major design changes or additional features requested after approval may be charged separately.
8. Client Content
The client confirms that all content supplied to True North Digital may legally be used for the project. We are not responsible for copyright, trademark or other claims relating to materials supplied by the client.
9. Intellectual Property
Subject to full payment, ownership of the final approved project deliverables will transfer according to the applicable quotation or written agreement.
Pre-existing tools, reusable code, frameworks, licensed assets, fonts, plugins and third-party software remain subject to their original ownership and licence terms.
10. Portfolio Rights
Unless confidentiality has been agreed in writing, True North Digital may display completed work in its portfolio, social media pages and promotional material.
11. Hosting, Domains and Renewals
Where hosting, domain registration, email or related services are included, the duration will be stated in the selected package or quotation.
Renewal fees become the client's responsibility after the included period. Failure to renew may cause suspension, expiration or loss of the related service.
12. Third-Party Services
Projects may rely on third-party hosting companies, payment providers, plugins, APIs, analytics tools or external platforms. Their availability, pricing and terms are outside our control.
13. Support and Maintenance
Post-launch support is limited to the period and scope included in the chosen package or agreement. Ongoing updates, maintenance or new development may require a separate plan or quotation.
14. Cancellation and Refunds
Deposits may become non-refundable once planning, design, development, procurement or other project work has begun.
Any refund or cancellation amount will depend on completed work, committed third-party expenses and the terms stated in the accepted quotation.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, True North Digital will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost profits, business interruption or data loss.
16. Service Suspension
Services may be paused or suspended where payments are overdue, required information is not provided, unlawful content is involved or continued work would breach an agreement or applicable law.
